The poker action has resumed for the players with the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) XIV starting today and running till Nov 15th. The series will feature 25 different events including knockout, shootout, turbo, and two-day events. Not to mention the $2.5 million guaranteed main event. All together the total guaranteed prize pool is more than $16 million.

The first event, the $200 plus $16 no-limit hold’em six-max tournament, starts off tonight at 9 p.m. (ET). The event will be hosted by Allen Cunningham and it guarantees $1,000,000. The satellites are running all day starting at as little as $5.

In addition to this there are many competitions and challenges also going on at Full Tilt Poker during the FTOPS, which makes it more exciting. In the FTOPS XIV Satellite Challenge players can win as many FTOPS XIV tournament entries as possible. If a player wins more entries than anyone else, he will receive the Tournament dollars equivalent of two more buy-ins, and the player in second place gets them equivalent of one more buy-in.

Any player who finishes on the bubble of an FTOPS event gets the chance to return with the “Bouncebackability” free roll. This is takes place on Nov. 21st at 3 p.m. and a main event buy-in is the main focus.

This weekend is all about money where poker is concerned. At least $5.7 million will be available weekend as part of the 13th Full Tilt Online Poker Series. The $535 buy-in Main Event enriches the merriment and comes with a $2.5 million guaranteed prize pool.

The Main Event is scheduled on Sunday at 6:00pm ET, hosted by Gus Hansen, one of the premier members of Team Full Tilt. Last time out, the FTOPS Main Event resulted in 4,581 runners with $432,400 prize money. Other finalists included azzabentonaces (second place for $262,500), iDubDeuce (third place for $170,000), Hartwith (fourth place for $132,500), nickel twenty (fifth place for $100,000), NinG (sixth place for $75,000), RonFezBuddy (seventh place for $57,500), baDONKaD0NK88 (eighth place for $43,750), and oiltrader (ninth place for $32,500).

The ultimate event to play out this weekend is a $129 buy-in No Limit Hold’em Knockout tournament, the 24th on the FTOPS XIII schedule. Erica Schoenberg. will host the high-stakes bounty contest, which kicks off tomorrow at 2:00pm ET and features at least $750,000 up for grabs. The tournaments are similar to their high-stakes FTOPS counterparts, but come with one-tenth of the buy-in. The MiniFTOPS Main Event takes place on September 20th at 5:00pm ET and carries a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool. During FTOPS XII, MiniFTOPS tournaments were held concomitantly with traditional events, causing many players to settle towards the smaller buy-ins. Consequently, a horde of overlays occurred in the high-stakes FTOPS tournaments.
